DOWNFALL OF INTERNET EXPLORER!!!

Internet explorer, the most used browser now lossed his place.. It was used by infinite users at some time earlier but now its speed has decrease.. Even now the new and latest browser Mozilla’s Firefox is higher in ranking and even google chrome also...

Users now like to browse on Mozilla’s firefox rather than Internet Explorer.. They feel more comfortable by using Mozilla’s Firefox…

In Europe, This month Internet Explorer has lost its rank upto three times.. Now the latest browsers are Mozilla’s Firefox,  Google’s Chrome, apple’s Safari, Opera… These are most favourable browsers now a days with high ranking…

The percentage of other browsers in this month was Mozilla with 31%, Chrome at 7% and Safari approximately 4%.. One of the reasons of this decline is slow speed of internet… The ranking of broadband users is very low in India i.e. only 8 million..

RISE IN PRICES OF HYUNDAI..

Hyundai has announced to rise its prices from April reveiled by  RSM ( Regional Sales Manager ).. upto Rs.5000.. Also they console that public not need to worry regarding the prices because they will not entirely upward this prices to public..

Hyundai on other hand is also planning to manufacture small cars for India in Korea with excellent speed… As Hundai is well known for its perfect mileage, this new change in prices will not effect the customers who has always preffered Hyundai…

On the other side, Chennai city is going to deliver 6 lakhs cars per year out of which 3.2 lakhs approximately are for the export sector.. Plans are also in progress to shift i20 from Chennai to Europe..

“THE BURNING NANO”..

Today a customer named Satish sawant, owner of ” Nano ” was driving his car with a humble and happiness.. He was just coming from the showroom of “Nano” with his new car, while he was driving suddenly the car got trapped in flames.. First it started with flames and then ended in fire..

After sometime, a lady and a child came out from car’s back seat.. There was a smoke in engine found in Nano’s rear.. This incident has aroused many questions in people’s mind regarding the low cost Nano about its security features..

Now the lady got under phobia factor regarding cars.. She does not even wants a “Mercedes” even after this incident.. Nano is the world’s cheapest car but with no safet measures..

Tata has offered Satish  a refund or a replacement Nano.. Moreover, this is not the first time that a complaint has come against Nano.. There are many complaints.. Customers are not satisfied with their “Nano”..

cigarette1An inevitable hike has been seen in cigarette prices after the imposition of excise duty on tobacco in Union Budget (2010-11)……..this news has influenced minds of cigarette smokers so much that they have started taking cigarettes in stocks…..Even many cigarette dealers in central eastern India like Kolkata had run out of stocks for some brands like gold flake, even the company didnt disclose on which brands the company would effect a price hike……

The rate of taxation on cigarettes before budget anouncement of  (2010-11) was 190 percent which has now increased to 121% excise duty hike…….Thus concluding an inevitable hike in its price rise…. But still it will not effect smokers and chain smokers of drinking it.. They will not stop of doing this and they will continue their addiction…

Railway budgets of punjab are illusionary and discriminatory!!

Today Parkash Singh Badal, chief minister declares Union Railway budget for 2010-11 describing it as “another instance of sheer discrimination and gross injustice meted out”…According to Parkash, the railway budget given by minister Mamta Banerjee is completely “insensitive” towards the need of the border state..

He said that even the progress on the Chandigarh-Ludhiana link sanctioned by IK Gujral government had not been mentioned in the budget despite state government’s repeated reminders to Centre for early completion of this project. The budget had also not taken care of the state’s pending demand to sanction another Western freight dedicated Rail Corridor Mumbai-Delhi to Amritsar via Ludhiana to give fillip to the industrial sector in general and the agro based in particular, he said.

Bhupinder Singh Hooda has welcomed the budget.. He said that they appreciate this decision and said furtherthat the Ambala Cantt railway station has been identified as a world class station in the budget.

Chandigarh (Mera Chandigarh): The Chandigarh municipal corporation on Friday approved the budget of Rs 690.8 crore for the financial year 2010-11.

The approved budget under plan head was of Rs 409.35 crore and under non-plan head Rs 281.45 crore.

Microsoft cuts down Windows 7 Prices

MICROSOFT is to sell the standard home-user version of its new Windows 7 operating system for 8 per cent less than the comparable version of its Vista system, as the global downturn hits spending on technology. The world’s largest software company, whose recent ads champion low-priced PCs against more expensive Apple computers, said the new system will be available at even lower prices for a short time, as it looks to tempt buyers ahead of the holiday shopping season.

The new operating system, which Microsoft hopes will be a bigger hit than the poorly received Vista, will be generally released on October 22. It will be available on pre-order from US stores such as Best Buy, online retailer Amazon.com and the company’s own website from Friday.

The world’s lorgest software company’s low-priced PCs will be available at lower prices for a short time, as it looks to tempt buyers ahead of the holiday shopping season.

After July 11, the pre-order price will be $119.99, 8 per cent less than the present $129.99 price tag for the comparable version of Vista, which cost $159.99 at launch in early 2007.

The Professional upgrade version of Windows 7 ~ aimed at small companies using multiple computers will be on sale until July 11 at $99.99, then at $199.99 afterwards, The comparable Vista version is the same price. Prices fpr die full retail versions of the software for customers who want to install the system from scratch rather than upgrade Uieir existing Windows system - are also being reduced or held. Henkel– 100cr business from utensil cleaning

Chandigarh: Henkel India on thursday announced that it is expecting a business of Rs100cr from its utensil cleaning segment.The sales in this segment have grown 500 pc last year i.e Rs 75cr in 2007 from 12.5cr in 2003.
The Henkel India is planning to capture 25% of the market share in household cleaners segment.

Auction of largest commercial land in Mohali tomorrow

Mohali: All is set for the largest commercial land auction ever in Chandigarh and Mohali. Scheduled to be held on February 8, the site spread across 9.60 acres provides freedom for the development of a multiplex, shopping mall, hotel, service apartments or anything the buyer may wish to develop except industry. The reserve price for the site has been kept as Rs 1 lakh per square yard and this works out to be Rs 464 crore.

The plot is in Mohali right on the Chandigarh border. The site has attracted enquiries from real estate investors of national repute and others, including Reliance Industries, Omaxe, DLF, Indian Tabacco Company, Housing and Urban Development Corporation of India (Hudco), Ansals and Unitech. Both Anil Ambani and Mukesh Ambani led Reliance groups are also said to have shown interest in the site. Sources said the main attraction for the prospective bidders is the the location of the site being in Mohali bordering Chandigarh. Also, the site is surrounded by a population of more than 20,000 families of upper, middle and high income groups.

The proposed international airport, existing railway station, PCA cricket stadium, IT cluster, Knowledge City and the proposed golf course/club are located at a distance of 3-5 km from the site. The plot juts out into Sector 49 with 100 feet wide roads on two sides.

GMADA to hold auction of 9.6-acre commercial land tomorrow

Chandigarh: The Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA) will auction 9.60 acre of commercial land located in Sector 64, Mohali, which lies on the border of Chandigarh and Mohali. The authority has reserved the price of the land at Rs 464 crore, said a GMADA spokesperson today.

He said, “The auction is scheduled to be held on Feburary 8 at PUDA Bhawan, Sector 62, Mohali. The site has attracted enquiries from real estate investors such as Reliance Industries, Omaxe, DLF, Indian Tabacco Company, Housing and Urban Development Corporation of India (HUDCO), Ansals, Arean Group and Unitech. In view of the feedback, the main attraction for the prospective bidders has been the location of the land on the border of Chandigarh. The site will enjoy infrastructure facilities available in both Chandigarh and Mohali. The site is surrounded by a population of more than 20,000 families of upper, middle and high income groups.”

The buyer will have the freedom to develop multiplex, shopping mall, hotel, service apartments or anything except industry. The reserve price of the site has been announced as Rs 1 lakh per square yard, said GMADA spokesman.
