Chandigarh: As the cut-off percentage for admissions in various colleges in chandigarh has increased, it has become difficult for the students scoring average marks to seek admission in the college of their choice. The GGDSD college -sector32, announced the first cut off list for admission in various undergraduate commerce programs on tuesday.
The cutoff is higher than last year even though one additional unit was added to BCom, BBA and BCA courses respectively. The first cutoff figure for BCom-1 is 97.8 % without mathematics and 93.8 % with mathematics for general pool and 93.2 per cent without mathematics and 89.2 per cent with mathematics for UT pool.
The main reason for the increase in Cutoffs is the increase in number of students scoring marks above 90%.
